About Amimind 400 Tablet
AMISULPRIDE belongs to a group of medicines called 'antipsychotics' used to treat nausea and vomiting post-surgery. In higher doses, AMISULPRIDE also treats schizophrenia and acute psychotic episodes. Schizophrenia is a mental condition in which the person may feel, hear, or see things that are not there, believe things that are not true, feel unusually suspicious or confused.

Medicinal Benefits of Amimind 400 Tablet
AMISULPRIDE belongs to a group of antipsychotics used to treat schizophrenia in adults and children who are above 13 years old. AMISULPRIDE improves the mood and behaviour in people who have an imbalance of chemicals known as a neurotransmitter in their brain. Thus, AMISULPRIDE relieves psychotic symptoms like delusions, hallucinations, confusion, disturbing thoughts, and lack of self-awareness.
Directions for Use
Take AMISULPRIDE before, taking a meal. The tablet form of AMISULPRIDE should be swallowed as a whole with a glass of water; do not chew, or crush the tablet. Usually, the recommended AMISULPRIDE is between 50 mg and 800 mg each day. Initially, the doctor may advise the lower doses and then gradually increase the dose with time. Elderly persons have prescribed a lower dosage.

Drug Warnings
Persons who are dealing with medical conditions like kidney problems, diabetes, Parkinson's disease, fits (epileptic seizures), unusual heart rate (rhythm), elderly, low potassium levels in your blood, taking any drugs which may lower potassium levels (such as thiazide, diuretics, bendroflumethiazide, hydrochlorothiazide), stroke, history of blood clots, low number of white blood cells (agranulocytosis) should consult with a doctor before taking AMISULPRIDE. Do not take AMISULPRIDE if you are allergic to AMISULPRIDE or any of its contents. Do not take AMISULPRIDE if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed. AMISULPRIDE causes drowsiness and dizziness, do not drive unless you are alert. AMISULPRIDE can be given to children above 10 years if prescribed by the doctor for treating mental conditions like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
